US tuner and restoration firm Gas Monkey Garage have decided to sponsor 2 cars at 2 of America’s biggest races, the Indy 500 and 24hrs of Daytona. Sean Smith reports.

Gas Monkey Garage, the company behind the Discovery Channel’s “Fast n’ Loud” has announced that they will become the chief sponsor of the #24 Indy 500 entry with driver Sage Karam and the #33 GT3 Riley Motorsports SRT Dodge Viper at the Daytona 24hrs.

Fans of the Fast n’ Loud show will know that this is not the first motorsport venture that company owner Richard Rawlings has undertaken, sponsoring an NHRA Top Fuel dragster, and that he has a keen interest in motorsport.

The liveries both look awesome and both cars should have a chance of racing at the front of their respective races and challenging for the wins. As a fan of the show and both the new American race series that GMG are entering I am certainly pleased to hear the news.
